From Switzerland to Japan by Train (Autumn 2007)
I have been to Japan for a number of times already. But for a very long time it has been my dream, to go there by train. This does, however, require a certain amount of time, which is why it was not so easy making this dream come true. Sure, sitting 
in the train only, never getting off, it would be possible to travels from Switzerland to Japan in about twelve to fourteen days. But what would be the point of such a journey?
In 2006 I saw a possibility to get some extended holiday during autumn the following year. So I talked to my boss about this possibility and, indeed, together we were able to work this out. So I could start collecting information about and plan for this special journey.
